Hongkong Land Holdings Limited ('HKLH')
US$410,000,000 convertible bonds due 2001 ('Convertible Bonds')

Please be advised that as at 22 September 1999, HKLH has repurchased
an aggregate of US$43,850,000 (nominal) of its Convertible Bonds,
being 10.6951% of the initial nominal amount. The said amount of
US$43,850,000 is derived from a series of purchases carried out
since 13 January 1995.

The repurchased Convertible Bonds have or will be cancelled. An
amount of US$366,150,000 (nominal) of Convertible Bonds remains
outstanding.
