Hong Kong Land Hldgs Ld 1 November 2001 MANAGEMENT CHANGES AT HONGKONG LAND 1st November 2001 - Hongkong Land Holdings Limited announced today the appointment of Francis Heng as Chief Financial Officer of the Group and Finance Director of Hongkong Land Limited with effect from 1st December 2001. He will succeed Kuah Boon Wee who is to take up a position outside the Group in Singapore. Mr Heng has been Group Treasurer of Jardine Matheson since 1998, prior to which he was Group Treasurer in Hongkong Land. He has extensive finance experience, having held various finance, investment and treasury roles in different corporate settings. Mr Heng has previously lived and worked in Singapore, New York, London and Switzerland. Chief Executive of Hongkong Land, Nicholas Sallnow-Smith, said, 'Boon Wee has been an imaginative Chief Financial Officer and a valued colleague. We are sad to see him go but wish him well in his future career. We welcome Francis back to Hongkong Land where he served as Treasurer for two years.'
