Holders Technology PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Shawyer
as Finance Director with effect from 3 July 2000.

Mr Shawyer is a qualified FCA and from 1981 to 1997 was employed at a senior
level within various financial departments of the Rank Xerox Group.  More
recently, he was Operations Manager of a successful, rapidly growing private
software company.

There are no matters in respect of which any details need to be disclosed in
compliance with paragraph 16.5 of the Listing Rules.

The previous Finance Director, Hamish Kinmond, has left the Company.
