Hochschild Mining plc ("the Company")

The Company announces that Ignacio Rosado, an Executive Director of the Company, was appointed a Director of Zincore Metals Inc. (a company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange) with effect from 3 May 2010.  Ignacio is due to step down as an Executive Director of Hochschild Mining plc with effect from 1 June 2010.

This announcement is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14R (2) of the Listing Rules.
