International Sharesave Scheme

We wish to advise that on the 30th March 2005 Hiscox plc allotted 2,857 shares
of 5p each at an exercise price of £0.665 under the International Sharesave
Scheme.

We also wish to advise that on the 30th March 2005 Hiscox plc allotted 17,853
shares of 5p each at an exercise price of €1.064 under the International
Sharesave Scheme.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing class of ordinary 5p shares
in issue.
