Approved Option Scheme

We wish to advise that today Hiscox plc allotted 5,472 shares at an exercise
price of £1.622, 10,945 shares at an exercise price of £1.320, and 6,347 shares
at an exercise price of £1.051.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing class of ordinary 5p shares
in issue.

Unapproved Option Scheme

We wish to advise that today Hiscox plc allotted 37,435 shares at an exercise
price of £1.051, 21,891 shares at an exercise price of £1.809, 32,837 shares at
an exercise price of £0.831 and 70,000 shares at an exercise price of £1.290.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing class of ordinary 5p shares
in issue.

The issued share capital of Hiscox plc is now 391,406,636 ordinary shares of 5p
each.
