HAMILTON, Bermuda; Hiscox Ltd has been informed that on 8 October 2009, Robert Hiscox, Director, acquired 833 shares in the Company at a price of £3.6125  following the automatic reinvestment of dividends through an Individual Savings Account (ISA).

Following the above purchase, Mr Hiscox holds 6,599,266 Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company, representing 1.76% of the Company's issued share capital.
