The Company is pleased to announce that with effect from 19 July 2011 Paul Meader, an existing independent non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as the nominated Senior Independent Director of the Company as described by provision A.4.1. of the UK Code of Corporate Governance.

Mr Meader was appointed an independent non-executive director of the Company in April 2006 and is currently Chairman of the Management and Remuneration Committee.

Mr Meader is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments, past Chairman of the Guernsey International Business Association and currently Head of Portfolio Management for Collins Stewart in Guernsey.
