Notice of Results and Dividend Declaration

The Directors of HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited ('HICL') intend to announce HICL's results for the financial year ended 31 March 2009 on Thursday 28 May 2009. An analyst presentation will be held at 9.30 a.m. on the day of the results at the offices of Oriel Securities, 125 Wood Street, London EC2V 7AN. 

In addition, the Directors intend to announce a second interim dividend for the financial year ended 31 March 2009 ahead of the results date, in order that the Company may offer a Scrip Dividend alternative and make payment of the second interim dividend by 30 June 2009. The second interim dividend will be announced on Wednesday 20 May 2009 and payable to shareholders on the register as at 29 May 2009.
