Block Listing Application

A block listing application has been made for 30,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.01p each in HSBC Infrastructure Company Limited (the 'Company') to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The Company's existing block listing for Ordinary Shares has now been fully utilised. 

The Ordinary Shares may be issued for cash from time to time for the general corporate purposes of the Company. Any such issues will be made at a price above the net asset value per share as at the time of issue. New Ordinary Shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.

As at today's date, the Company may issue up to a further 18,143,294 Ordinary Shares without the need to produce a prospectus pursuant to the requirements of Prospectus Rule 1.2.2.
