HERALD INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today, the special
resolution seeking a general authority to buy back ordinary shares was duly
passed. Of the proxy votes cast, 99% were in favour. Accordingly, the Company
now has the authority to buy back up to 12,435,956 ordinary shares in the
Company.
