Interim Management Statement
for the period from 30 April 2013 to 19 September 2013

Henderson Opportunities Trust plc ('the Company') hereby states that no material events or transactions in respect of the Company have taken place during the period. 

As announced on 24 June 2013, an interim dividend of 3.3p per ordinary share, in respect of the year ending 31 October 2013, will be paid on 23 September 2013 to shareholders on the register of members on 23 August 2013. The shares went ex- dividend on 21 August 2013.

The Company's Manager is Henderson Global Investors Limited ('Henderson').  Henderson announces the Company's net asset value per share on a daily basis and publishes a monthly factsheet on the Company.  This and further information on the financial position and performance of the Company, including the market prices of the Company's shares, can be found on the Manager's website at www.itshenderson.com or www.hendersonopportunitiestrust.com. 

The market price of the Company's ordinary shares is also quoted in the Financial Times.
