Interim Management Statement
for the period from 31 October 2012 to 21 March 2013

Henderson Opportunities Trust plc ('the Company') hereby states that no material events or transactions in respect of the Company have taken place during the period. 

As announced on 8 February 2013, and as approved at the Annual General Meeting held today, a final dividend of 6.00p per ordinary share, in respect of the year ended 31 October 2012, will be paid on 28 March 2013 to shareholders on the register of members on 22 February 2013.

At the Annual General Meeting held today all of the resolutions proposed were duly passed.

The Company's Manager is Henderson Global Investors Limited ('Henderson').  Henderson announces the Company's net asset value per share on a daily basis and publishes a monthly factsheet on the Company.  This and further information on the financial position and performance of the Company, including the market prices of the Company's shares, can be found on the Manager's website at www.itshenderson.comor www.hendersonopportunitiestrust.com. 

The market price of the Company's ordinary shares is quoted in the Financial Times and other leading newspapers.
