The Board is pleased to announce that the resolution to issue up to 150 million new Ordinary Shares in connection with the recommended proposals for the reconstruction and winding-up of Henderson Global Trust plc that was put forward at the General Meeting today has been approved by shareholders.

The Company expects to make a further announcement of its participation in respect of the HGT Scheme upon the Effective Date, being 25 April 2016.
