DECLARES FIRST INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR THE

YEAR ENDING 31 AUGUST 2017

Henderson International Income Trust plc has declared a first interim dividend of 1.20p per ordinary share in respect of the year ending 31 August 2017 payable on 28 February 2017 to shareholders registered on 10 February 2017. This dividend is to be paid from the Company's revenue account.

The Company's shares go ex-dividend on 9 February 2017.
