Appointment of a new Director

The board of Henderson International Income Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanne Parfrey as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2021. Joanne will also be chair of the audit committee and will join, as a member, the nominations and remuneration committee, the management engagement committee and the insider committee.

Joanne is currently a non-executive director of Octopus AIM VCT plc and a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of Babraham Bioscience Technologies Limited and Start Codon Ltd. She has been a Mentor to the Accelerate Programme at Judge Business School, Cambridge University. Joanne is a chartered accountant and brings to the board strong investment and financial, analytical and risk management skills.

In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no other details to be disclosed in relation to Joanne Parfrey.
