Appointment of Co-Fund Manager

Henderson High Income Trust plc announces that the Board has agreed with Henderson Global Investors that with effect from 2 January 2014, Alex Crooke and David Smith will be Joint Portfolio Managers of the Company's portfolio.

David has worked for Henderson Global Investors for over 11 years progressing to become a fund manager in 2008. He has been Deputy Portfolio Manager since January 2013. Alex Crooke has been the portfolio manager since 1997.
