                     Appointment of Non-Executive Director


Henderson EuroTrust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Bernard
Joop Herman Saparoea Feilzer (known as Joop Feilzer) as non-executive director
to the Board with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting to be
held on Tuesday, 6 November 2007.



Mr Feilzer, who is aged 58 and retired, formerly held various executive
positions at Fortis and Fortis Bank S.A./N.V.  He has maintained a number of
non-executive appointments since retirement and is a member of several Dutch
foundations and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stichting Gemiva-SVG Groep.



In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is
confirmed that there are no additional details to be disclosed in relation to Mr
Feilzer.
