HENDERSON EUROTRUST PLC


ADMISSION OF NEW ORDINARY SHARES TO THE OFFICIAL LIST AND TO TRADING ON THE
LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE



In accordance with the circular incorporating a prospectus issued by Henderson
EuroTrust plc on 31 May 2002, 8,079,657 ordinary shares of the Company were
issued under the placing and offer for subscription.



The new ordinary shares were admitted to the Official List, and dealings
commenced on the London Stock Exchange, on Tuesday 9 July 2002.



Following the issue of new ordinary shares the Company now has 25,667,005
ordinary shares and 17,587,348 zero dividend preference shares in issue.
