Director ate Change

Helios Underwriting plc, the unique investment vehicle which acquires and consolidates underwriting capacity at Lloyd's, today announces that Jeremy Evans has stepped down from the Board and his position as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

As Helios is considering accelerating its acquisition of limited liability vehicles, Jeremy believes that it is now appropriate to retire from the B oard,   after 13 years of service,   in order to focus on his other roles at Nomina plc and Hampden Capital plc. Hampden continues to provide services to the Company and retains a 3.62 per cent. shareholding.

Michael Cunningham, Non-Executive Chairman of Helios, commented: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Jeremy for his substantial contribution to the Company over the many years, in what has been a period of positive transformation for the business. He leaves with all our best wishes for the future. "
