The Company was advised on 17 November 2000 that on that date, the Helical Bar
Employees' Share Ownership Plan Trust ('ESOP') purchased 138,939 (0.5%) ordinary
5p shares in the company at 730.0p per share.  The Helical Bar ESOP now holds
1,146,939 (3.8%) ordinary 5p shares in the Company.
