                       New appointment for Eclipse Group
                                       
                                       
   Headlam announces that Mr Christopher John will join the Group as
   Managing Director of its Eclipse Group subsidiary effective 3 July
   2000.
   
   Chris John (aged 40) has considerable international experience of the
   Textile and Plastic Consumer markets.
   
   He is currently a Divisional Chief Executive of a substantial listed
   UK plc.
