Exercise of share options / Transfer of treasury shares

 

Headlam Group plc (LSE: HEAD), Europe's leading distributor of floorcoverings, announces that, on 23 May 2019, share options granted under the Headlam Group Savings Related Share Option Scheme, were exercised at an option price of £3.40 per share by certain employees of the Company.

 

A total of 529 ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purpose of satisfying the exercise of the share options.

Following the above transfer of treasury stock, the Company holds 752,531 ordinary shares as treasury shares.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 84,611,212, with one voting right per share.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 84,611,212.

The above figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
