Directors Share Purchase

On the 2 March 2009 Hargreaves Services PLC (AIM: HSP), a leading supplier of support services to the energy, mineral 
and waste sectors, was notified that on the 2 March 2009, Steve MacQuarrie (Company Secretary), Kevin Dougan (Group 
Contracts Director) and Gordon Banham (Chief Executive), each purchased 4,288 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company 
('Ordinary Shares') through the exercising of options under the Savings-Related Share Option Scheme. These options were 
exercised at a price of 218p per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this transaction the parties are interested in the following Ordinary Shares:

The above calculations are based on the Company's issued share capital of 26,276,160 Ordinary Shares. The Company does
