Notification of Transaction of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") or Connected Persons  

On 8^th November 2011, the Company received notification that Mr Stephen Robertson, a Non-Executive Director, bought a total of 3,996 Hargreaves Lansdown PLC 0.4p ordinary shares at a price of 497.9619 pence per share.  

Mr Robertson's resultant shareholding is 7,207 ordinary shares which represents 0.0015% of issued share capital.    

Hargreaves Lansdown (Nominees) Limited is the registered shareholder as nominee for the above PDMR.  The transaction took place in Bristol on 8^th November 2011.
