Mr P W B Cole, Director of Hammerson plc, exercised options on 13 June 2005 over
5,700 ordinary 25p shares at 347p per share.

Mr P W B Cole then sold 2,800 shares at 917.5p per share on 13 June 2005.

Following this exercise, Mr P W B Cole holds a further 11,356 options under the
Company's Executive Share Option Scheme and 25,936 ordinary 25p shares.
