Mr P W B Cole, a director of Hammerson plc, exercised options on 17 April 2002
over:

  • 4,500 ordinary 25p shares at 345p per share; and
  • 10,000 ordinary 25p shares at 379p per share.

Mr Cole then sold the resultant shares at 585p per share on 17 April 2002.

Following this exercise, Mr Cole holds options over a further 65,058 ordinary
25p shares.
