Notification of Transactions of Directors

Hammerson plc (the "Company") was notified on 4 May 2012 by the trustees of the Hammerson Share Incentive Plan (the "SIP") that ordinary shares of 25 pence each (the "Shares") in the Company were purchased on behalf of David Atkins and Peter Cole on 3 May 2012 under the Dividend Shares element of the SIP at a price of £4.2070, following the re-investment of the final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2011. 

 

The Company was further notified on 8 May 2012 by the trustees of the SIP that Shares in the Company were purchased on behalf of Timon Drakesmith on 4 May 2012 under the Partnership Shares element of the SIP at a price of £4.1100.  In accordance with the terms of the SIP, Mr Drakesmith was awarded two Matching Shares for each Partnership Share purchased.

 

The number of Dividend and Partnership Shares purchased, Matching Shares awarded and the total holdings of each of the Executive Directors in the Company's Shares following the transactions are as follows:
