The Directors of Halma p.l.c. intend to hold a Board Meeting on 18 June 2002 at
which the announcement of the profit for the financial year ended 30 March 2002
will be approved.

The final dividend for the financial year ended 30 March 2002 will also be
recommended at that meeting.
