DATE OF BOARD MEETING TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS AND RECOMMEND DIVIDEND


The Directors of Halma p.l.c. intend to hold a Board Meeting on 19 June 2001
at which the announcement of the profit for the financial year ended 31 March
2001 will be approved.

The final dividend for the financial year ended 31 March 2001 will also be
recommended at that meeting.
