Halfords Appoints Group Finance Director 

Halfords Group plc, the UK's leading retailer of automotive and leisure products and leading operator in garage servicing and auto repair, announces the appointment of Andrew Findlay as Group Finance Director. He will join the company on 1st February 2011.

 

Andrew is currently Director of Finance, Tax and Treasury at Marks and Spencer Group plc where he played a key role in programmes to deliver cost savings and improvements in working capital. Prior to Marks and Spencer he held senior finance roles at the London Stock Exchange and at Cable and Wireless, both in the UK and US. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand.
