Halfords Group PLC 02 February 2006 2 February 2006 Halfords Group plc ('Halfords') Richard Pym appointed non-executive Chairman Halfords, the UK's leading auto, leisure and cycling products retailer, today announces the appointment of Richard Pym as non-executive Chairman with effect from 1 April 2006. He succeeds Rob Templeman, who has advised the Board of his intention to step down as non-executive Chairman on March 31 2006, the end of the current financial year. Rob has been Chairman of Halfords since March 2003. Richard Pym, 56, joined Halfords as Senior Independent Director in May 2004.
