('Barclays'), pursuant to Sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985,
advising that, through fourteen legal entities named in the notification,
Barclays now has a notifiable interest in 26,554,579 ordinary shares in GUS
(representing 3.08% of the issued ordinary share capital of GUS). The
