STATEMENT ON RETIREMENT OF CHAIRMAN AND POSTING OF
ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS
GUS has today posted to shareholders the Annual Report and Accounts for the year
ended 31 March 2000 in which it announces that its Chairman, Lord Wolfson of
Sunningdale, is to retire at this year's AGM on 26 July.
