(AIM-GKP), an independent oil exploration company operating in the Republic of Algeria, is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline A. Brown as Chief Financial Officer in succession to Ali Al-Qabandi who becomes Vice President, Business Development. Caroline Brown is an experienced finance professional with executive and advisory experience in diverse industry sectors. Most recently, she was the Director of Finance Change at Norwich Union Insurance, part of Aviva plc. Previously she was Chief Financial Officer and a main board director with Netcall plc, an AIM-listed software and technology company. Dr. Brown has UK and international banking experience in the energy sector as Director of Corporate Finance with UBS and HSBC. Caroline Brown, aged 42, is a qualified accountant, an MBA and has a PhD in natural sciences from Cambridge University. She is currently a non-executive director of WSP Group plc. There are no other matters to be disclosed with respect to schedule 2F of the AIM rules.
