Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited received notification from Agile Energy Limited
("Agile Energy") on 15 February 2008 that it had purchased 250,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on that day at a price of 31.50p.  Following the purchase,
Agile Energy has a beneficial interest in Gulf Keystone shares of 250,000,
representing approximately 0.09% of the Company's issued share capital.



Agile Energy is a Channel Islands company owned by the Asher Family Trust, of
which Jeremy Asher, a non-executive director of Gulf Keystone, is the settlor
and lifetime beneficiary.
