QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 202,884 shares purchased on 20 December 2012, the 100,000 shares purchased on 21 December 2012, and the 46,458 shares purchased on 27 December 2012 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 6,669,232 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 173,436,638 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 6,669,232 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 173,436,638.
