Share buy back(s)

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 04 September 2013 it purchased 45,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.027778, 10,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0300, 10,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0250, 7,052 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0250 and 5,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0300.

Following the above purchases, the Company holds 6,049,946 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 174,500,266 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 174,500,266 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
