Share buy back

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 5 July 2012 it purchased 400,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.88 and 8,204 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.8775. Following the above purchases, the Company holds 8,675,366 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 224,181,100 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 224,181,100 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
