Share buy back

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 28 June 2011 it purchased 20,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.875 and 40,000 ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.87. Following the above purchases, the company holds 444,696 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 233,016,466 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 233,016,466 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
