The following replaces Share buy back(s) announcement dated Wednesday 31 January 2013 at 17.29 under RNS Number 8666W which had shown the purchase of 96,380 shares at USD0.93:  this should have read 96,388 at USD0.93.

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 31 January 2013 it purchased 31,380 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.94, it purchased 20,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.9475 and it purchased 96,388 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.93. Following the above purchases, the Company holds 10,780,266 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 179,379,189 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 179,379,189 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
