TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 10,692 shares purchased on 13 January 2014, the 15,000 shares purchased on 14 January 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 15 January 2014, the 15,000 shares purchased on 16 January 2014, the 15,000 shares purchased on 17 January 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 20 January 2014, the 20,000 shares purchased on 23 January 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 28 January 2014, the 10,000 shares purchased on 29 January 2014, the 20,000 shares purchased on 30 January 2014 and the 20,000 shares purchased on 31 January 2014, have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 1,138,969 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 139,285,912 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 1,138,969 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 139,285,912.
