QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 10,000 shares purchased on 1 February 2013, 10,000 shares purchased on 4 February 2013, the 50,000 shares purchased on 5 February 2013, the 19,737 shares purchased on 6 February 2013, the 101,553 shares purchased on 7 February 2013, the 10,000 purchased on 8 February 2013, the 10,000 shares purchased on 11 February 2013, the 10,000 shares purchased on 12 February 2013, the 380,000 shares purchased on 14 February 2013, and the 40,000 shares purchased on 21 February 2013 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 5,662,338 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 155,717,833 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 5,662,338 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 155,717,833.
