I give below details of the change in interests in the Ordinary shares of GlaxoSmithKline plc in respect of the under-mentioned person:

Mr D Pulman exercised an award over 17,858 Ordinary shares under the Company's Annual Incentive Plan on 12 March 2010 and sold 7,621 at a price of £12. 44 per share on 15 March to meet the tax liability arising from this exercise.

The Company and the above named individual were advised of this transaction on 16 March 2010.

This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a).
