                 GRIFFIN APPOINTS INVESTOR RELATIONS CONSULTANT

                               GRANT OF WARRANTS


Griffin Mining Limited ('Griffin') has engaged the services of investor
relations consultants C3 Consultants.  C3 Consultants will not be paid any fees
or disbursements by Griffin for the provision of its services but will be
compensated by the grant of :


• warrants exercisable into 750,000 new ordinary shares of Griffin at
  £0.05 per share; and

• warrants exercisable into 500,000 new ordinary shares of Griffin at
  £0.10 per share.


The above warrants are exercisable any time between 30 September 2002 and 30
September 2003


• warrants exercisable into 500,000 new ordinary shares of Griffin at
  £0.15 per share; and

• warrants exercisable into 250,000 new ordinary shares of Griffin at
  £0.20 per share.


The above warrants are exercisable any time between 30 September 2002 and 30
September 2004.
