Allocation of options in Griffin Mining Limited to Directors.

Further to the announcement made by Griffin Mining Limited ('Griffin') on 26th
March 2001 concerning the grant of options over 8,000,000 new ordinary shares
to the directors exercisable at 5 pence per share, these options have today
been allocated to the directors as follows:
