The Company was notified on 23 May 2006 that, as at 18 May 2006, Barclays PLC,
acting through the legal entities Gerrard Ltd and Barclays Capital Securities
Ltd, had an interest in 1,539,700 ordinary shares of 5 pence each, representing
3.06% of the outstanding share capital of the Company.





The outstanding share capital of the Company remains at 50,269,809 ordinary
shares of 5 pence each.
