                              Directors' shareholding

The Company announces that it has today been informed that on 13 August 2002
350,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company previously held in a
beneficial trust for Mr S J Green were transferred into his own name.  As a
result of this transfer Mr S J Green's beneficial holding in the Company remains
unchanged at 5,625,491 ordinary shares representing 11.97% of the outstanding
share capital.  Following the transfer Mr S J Green's entire holding of shares
is held in his own name.
