Greggs plc announces that on 10 January 2008 it purchased 20,000 ordinary shares
of 20p each in the Company for cancellation at the highest price of £45.00 per
share and at the lowest price of £44.215 per share.
Following this cancellation of shares, the Company's total issued share capital
will be 10,615,091.
