On 19th February 2001, Greggs PLC ('the Company') was notified that on 15th
February 2001, following a novation of funds from Norwich Union Investment
Management Limited to Morley Fund Management Limited that the Norwich Union
Group interest in the Company is as follows:-
BNY Norwich Union Nominees Ltd 468,796
Chase GA Group Nominees Ltd 505,504
Chase GA Pension Nominees Ltd 45,000
CUIM Nominee Ltd 125,000
Vidacos Nominees Ltd 270,850
Total 1,415,150
Morley Fund Management Limited's total holding represents 11.81% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
Norwich Union Investment Management Limited no longer have a notifiable interest
in the Company's shares.
The interests being disclosed are made on behalf of Norwich Union plc (the
ultimate holding company of the Norwich Union Group of Companies) and the other
companies referred to in the above notice.
